IDC, one of the world's leading technology research firms, together with BluSpecs and Founderland, is developing a Gender and Diversity Index (GENDEX) as a pilot initiative funded by the Horizon Europe programme. As part of the spectrum of actions under the European Innovation Council (EIC), GENDEX's mission is to bridge data gaps and enhance access to diverse talent within the innovation ecosystem. The aim of this survey is to collect relevant information on how diversity impacts the fundraising journeys of start-up and scale-up founders and cofounders in the European innovation ecosystem.
